How do I install Halo HSE?

Download from the App Store on any iPhone or iPad running iOS 17 or newer. Halo HSE is a universal app — one download works across all your Apple devices.

How does the Pro purchase work?

Pro is a one-time purchase (€14.99) made through Apple's In-App Purchase system. You keep it forever, on all Apple devices signed in to your Apple ID. No subscription, no auto-renewal, no upsells.

Can I get an expense receipt for my employer?

Yes. After purchase, open the App → Settings → Halo HSE Pro → Get expense receipt. Fill in your employer's details (company name, address, VAT number, optionally a PO reference) and the App generates a single-page PDF receipt suitable for most expense systems. You can regenerate it later — the receipt number stays stable.

Does Halo HSE work offline?

Yes. All calculators, references, and saved records work offline. iCloud sync requires an internet connection when it happens, but you can use the App normally without one. That's a design choice — HSE work happens in places where signal isn't guaranteed.

What data does Halo HSE collect about me?

None. We do not include analytics or tracking of any kind. Apple's App Store gives us aggregated install and crash statistics; that's the extent of it. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

What if my company won't reimburse an Apple receipt?

Contact hello@halosafety.io and we can arrange a commercial VAT invoice from MB The Special Something for corporate reimbursement. Include your employer's billing details and we'll issue one within a working day.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and request a refund through Apple's process. If you have trouble, email hello@halosafety.io and we'll help escalate.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your calculations and records stay on your device and in your own iCloud. Nothing is sent to our servers because we don't have any. If you disable iCloud sync in Settings, your data never leaves the device at all.

Are you working on other products?

Yes. Halo Learn (NEBOSH/IOSH exam prep), Halo Sheets (chemical reference and SDS management), and the full Halo compliance platform for SMEs are planned for 2026–2027. Join the waitlist on the homepage and we'll email when each one lands.
